Dissertation

Thank you for visiting. I invite you to explore my master’s dissertation, titled:
Exploration of Sacrality – How does the concept of the 'sacred' extend beyond religious contexts to include personal values and experiences, and what role do these interpretations play in the design and perception of meaningful spaces?

This research investigates how notions of the sacred are not limited to traditional religious settings, but also emerge from deeply personal values, emotional connections, and everyday rituals. Through interdisciplinary perspectives, the paper explores how these broader understandings of sacrality influence our interaction with space—shaping environments that resonate on a human, emotional, and symbolic level.

If you've ever found yourself moved by a space—be it a quiet room, a community gathering place, or a natural landscape—this study may offer a new lens through which to understand why.
